Summary:
In this training, participants will differentiate between myths and facts surrounding the transmission of HIV and AIDS, understand the impact of stigma and discrimination, relationships between HIV, STIs, people who use drugs and marginalized populations and prevention strategies. Also covered are harm reduction strategies including syringe service programs and an introduction to safe injection sites.
