Anchoring Hope in Recovery: Where Community, Education and Healing Unite.

Peer-assisted recovery trainings empower individuals with personal recovery experience to provide support and guidance to others, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills for effective assistance.

Many of us have struggled and at one time walked through the door of a recovery center and asked for help, and we found it there in the compassionate community created by peer specialists.

With their support, we educated ourselves and began to heal. We were soon inspired to anchor our recovery by enrolling in courses to become Peer Recovery Specialists. We wanted to give back some of the life-giving care we had received.

That is where training with SOS Recovery Community Organization comes in. To ensure that the peer-assisted recovery workforce keeps growing and there will always be knowledgeable, compassionate peers to offer support and care to those impacted by Substance Use Disorder, SOSRCO provides a wide variety of courses.

We offer all of our classes on Zoom and we are also available to come to your location and train your staff, volunteers or participants.

Our courses have been designed by peers for peers and will advance an understanding of all aspects of peer-assisted recovery.
